Business Partner Technology Manager
Based in permanently in Nigeria & Kenya
Full-time
Travel up to 25%; travelling 2 days a week, home on weekends
Job description
Employees in this role are partner-facing and provide cross-brand, cross-offering technology and business management for partners within a defined geography or industry territory and/or set of named partners. They drive influenced or ledger revenue through their assigned territory and work as a trusted advisor in educating, designing and enabling win/win uses of IBM technology within their Business Partner’s solutions.
Required
- Bachelors Degree
- At least 2 years experience in Contract and Territory Management
- At least 2 years experience in Client Relationship and Partner Management
- At least 2 years experience in Communication and Analytical Skills
- English: Fluent
Preferred
- At least 3 years experience in Contract and Territory Management
- At least 3 years experience in Client Relationship and Partner Management
- At least 3 years experience in Communication and Analytical Skills
Additional information
- BP skills management, Assist sales team with opportunities, Territory Management
- Identify new sales opportunities, contract management (renewal of existing contracts).
- Successful candidate will need to interrogate warranty exit documents to create pipeline for growth.
- The incumbent will be required to work closely with the channel to drive business growth in various countries.
- Partners are responsible for service delivery so the territory manager will be ensure that the partner has correct skills levels and identify new training courses for the partners.
